A range of posters based on how posters advertising famous events in the history of Newcastle and the North East of England would have looked, if they were ever produced.

Each poster celebrates a different event in the history of our region, from The Blaydon Races in 1862, to the inaugural Great North Run in 1981.

Each one is designed and created from scratch, using fonts and design styles contemporary to the time of the event, and hand drawn in parts.

Printed on high quality paper stock right here in the North East of England, they are glossy and the colours are strong.

Each one is A2 in size (420mm x 594mm) and would make a great addition to any living room or hallway.

If you’re looking for a present for the Geordie (or Geordiephile!) in your life then you’d struggle to do much better than these unique posters!

So far we’ve shipped as far as Canada and Australia, and we’ve received great feedback from lots of delighted customers.

Each poster is £18 (plus postage and packing) and can either be sent in a strong hardboard tube so that your poster isn’t damaged, it can be hand delivered if you’re nearby, or it can be collected from NE3.
