Blog/Maddison Creative COVID-19 update

The whole world has ground to a halt following the outbreak of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 at the beginning of 2020.

Many people have been forced to cease work as social distancing measures prevent them from travelling to work, or as a result of schools and non-essential workplaces being forced to close to prevent the spread of the deadly virus that has now claimed the lives of over 13,000 people in the the UK alone.

Those of us who are fortunate enough to be able to work from home still do so, but the workload varies greatly depending on the industry you’re working in – people in leisure and non-essential retail for example find themselves with buckets of time on their hands, whereas workers in online gaming and suppliers of home-entertainment find themselves incredibly busy!

At Maddison Creative, we’re still beavering away for our existing clients, but as a result of the lockdown, many of our friends have closed for the time being and so we find ourselves with plenty of scope for more work, despite the restrictions we find ourselves under.

The beauty of existing in the online world is that we can all get together both professionally and socially, without risk of transmitting anything nasty to each other, and at the same time adhere to the guidance we’ve all been given by the authorities.

And so life can go on!
