Blog/Horizon hit zero and win in Florida

Two incredible teams from Newcastle-based Horizon cheerleading recently took to the international stage in Orlando, Florida, competing at a prestigious event held at Universal Studios. The teams – Haze and Majesty – represented not only their club but also the growing strength of UK cheerleading on a global platform.

Haze take first place

After months of dedication, commitment and intense training sessions, both teams delivered unforgettable performances. Haze took to the floor with confidence, precision, and energy that captivated both the judges and the crowd. Their routine was packed with sharp stunts, powerful tumbling, and seamless choreography, ultimately earning them a well-deserved win, which was an incredible achievement!

Majesty hit zero!

Majesty also delivered a stunning performance, showcasing their strength, teamwork, and resilience. Competing against some of the best teams in the world is no easy task, yet they rose to the challenge and hit zero (cheerleading speak for a flawless routine) in their final performance, earning them an impressive fifth-place finish, full of passion and determination, leaving everything on the mat.

Beyond the results, the experience itself was truly unforgettable. Competing internationally at such an iconic venue gave both teams the opportunity to grow, bond, and create lifelong memories. From exploring the parks to supporting one another backstage, every moment contributed to an amazing journey.
